A ONE-STOP PARTNER YOU CAN TRUST
ILCAM Group has built its strong position by mastering a broad set of technologies, developed and integrated to ensure consistency, precision and reliability at every stage of the manufacturing process. This wide-ranging expertise delivers more than just a competitive edge, it is a tangible response to customer demand for a partner capable of offering a combination of innovation, experience and consistent quality, turning each project into a solution that adds measurable value.
WOODWORKING
The production process starts with logs sawn at the ILROM facility in Romania, yielding items that will be sent to the parent company's site for further processing. Panels veneered at the ILMEST facility in Slovenia are assembled to produce so-called "five-piece" doors, which are supplied to customers either untreated or pre-coated.
WOOD VENEERING
Veneering is the process of covering a substrate with a very thin slice of wood and is used to produce the central panel of five-piece cabinet doors as well as slab doors.
EDGE-BANDING
Edge-banding is the last production step for both panels and doors. The process covers the edges by gluing on a strip of plastic, melamine or veneer, with a treatment applied to provide the best possible steam resistance and protection from water ingress. Edge bands are carefully matched to both the colour and finish of the panel or door. ILCAM makes slab doors from in-house or third-party panels by edge-banding all four sides. In addition to edge-banding, LANTA also produces complete furniture carcasses.
SPRAY COATING
Spray coating is one of the most widely used finishing techniques in furniture manufacture. Depending on specific production requirements, it can be carried out either by hand or using automated equipment. ILCAM's cutting-edge coating systems allow us to handle both large mass-production orders and small paint-to-order batches.
MEMBRANE PRESSING
Membrane pressing consists in mechanically applying highly resistant facings to untreated panels and doors, following their contours to perfection, even on raised profiles.
FLAT LAMINATION
The flat lamination process is used to cover surfaces with sheets that can be matt, gloss or textured depending on the product. The resulting panels are used to make doors for kitchen cabinets and for furniture across every room.
WRAPPING
The wrapping technique consists in covering doors, whether slab or five-piece, with special films. Where necessary, this process can be followed by additional coating.
