COMPONENTS MADE WITH SOLID WOOD DIRECT FROM THE SAWMILL
ILCAM’s expansion strategy in the ’90s included investing heavily in the acquisition of new companies. One of these, Agroindustriala, was the first company outside Italy to join the industrial enterprise that would later be rechristened ILCAM Group.
Based in Romania, not far from the borders with Serbia and Hungary, the company got its current name ILROM in 2006.
Its strategic location, close to extensive forested areas — an abundant source of raw material — made ILROM the perfect candidate for initial timber processing, including sawing and planing, supplying pre-processed elements in various shapes, sizes and species to other ILCAM Group companies.
ILROM is essential to the Group’s one-stop offering, a key part of a fully integrated supply chain serving the furniture industry.
DESCRIPTION
ILROM produces solid wood components using premium timbers sawn in its own sawmill, located close to the timber supply sources. Timbers are chosen based on their intended use and their aesthetic quality, and are crafted with particularly painstaking workmanship.
TECHNOLOGIES
ILCAM Group brings together the expertise of six different companies, each specializing in one or more processes, resulting in a total of eight technologies that can be leveraged to manufacture the products. This integrated capability lets us produce cabinet doors, panels and accessories to meet any project needs, in any finish and with the option of coordinated looks.
